Carol’s Priorities as your next District 7 School Board Director

As a School Board Director representing the ~21 schools and surrounding communities of Seattle’s southend and the needs of all district students and families, she will focus on:

• Safe Schools: Ensuring all students and staff have safe learning environments

• Excellent Teaching and Learning for All: Setting and monitoring goals that reflect all students, especially those facing historical inequities

• Transparency in Decision-Making: Making transparent, data-based decisions about resources and programs

• Fiscal Responsibility: Addressing SPS's structural budget challenges to ensure the district operates within its financial means

• Community Engagement: Ensuring timely and accessible opportunities for engagement, and transparent, consistent communications.
